Crufts 2019

Judy Averis seen here winning Crufts in 1998 with Ch Saredon Forever Young, whom a lot of you will find in your pedigree!

It's that time of the year again! Weltos wish the Welsh Terrier exhibitors all the luck in the world. I'm hoping our members will send some photos in as I sadly cannot make it this year.

Isabella Bennet has been preparing Chuck for "Cruftsmas" as it's now called by her!

After all that trimming, then comes the pre Crufts bath.

A blow dry and the head portrait is looking really good!

All dried and brushed and practising his table stand. Gorgeous!

Nicola Gee writes:

Wow! Chuck looks wonderful. Such a lovely dog. (Woody likes him a lot :) ) and full credit to Isabella and Tom for all their hard work and hope Team Bennet enjoy the day x

Jan Chamberlain writes:

Good luck Isabella. Chuck looks amazing!

Chris and Sophie Williams put together the Welsh Terrier stand for the Welsh Terrier Club of Great Britain at Discover Dogs, Crufts. Last year they won the best stand award.

Sent in by Alex Witmond:

The final line up with BOB far left. Alex wasn't showing any Welsh this year. But she did win Junior dog with her Jack Russell Pasha. Congratulations to Alex.

Meanwhile Isabella Bennet let me use some of her photos of her day:

Well done Chuck and Isabella. The same as last year. Second in his class. Isabella says it's not so much the showing that Chuck enjoys, but all the clapping and seeing his fans!

Best of Breed: Joanne Vickers with Eskwyre Wyatt Earp

I took a shot from the television

Beautiful boy! He did well.

The Scottie won the group, the same as last year. Now we must wait for Best In Show.

Reserve Best in Show: Magic Mike. Isn't he gorgeous?

Best in Show: Dylan the Villain! Beautiful!
