Time for camping!

After a long weekend babysitting grandchildren (a 3,4 and 5 year old) we decided to have a couple of days away in the caravan for some much needed R+R!! The weather could have been kinder but the peace and quiet at this little site just 30 minutes from home is wonderful. As you can see, Oldbury Hill, an iron age fort, (NT) is literally across the road and there is some lovely walking , especially if you avoid the bridle paths which are a bit wet and muddy at the moment.

Editors note: Nice one Chris. The dogs look like they're loving it as well as Mr Chris!

I am packing up the 'Moho' this weekend and we are off to North Norfolk after bank holiday Monday. Weather looks good and I am hoping to get some nice walks in before my foot op. Also we want to visit Rocky Bottoms!

Is anyone else doing a spot of caravanning/motorhoming? Let me know.

We're off to our "tin box in a field" tomorrow and this time it looks like the weather will be kind. This will be our fifth visit this year and we have seen lot of rain. Mind you, even in the rain Sussex looks good and Spring is definitely here! Last time, Alys managed to escape from the pen we set up and had a little adventure of her own. Fortunately, on the rare occasions this happens, she doesn't go far, happy just to check out the other caravans and their occupants. Lots of dog owners on the site and they all know Alys, so we soon know when she is out. Hope the sun shines on everyone, wherever they are next week. Chris, Lesley & Alys

Just waiting for Jack who is at the groomers. Hope the op goes well. We're staying at Blakeney but not until Tuesday, the week after bank holiday. Back up there first week in July. Would love to have a beer, crab and a walk with David and you. ( Editors note:Anyone else likely to be in Norfolk then?)

PS A good friend has Lyme Disease picked up in Bedforshire, Nordic walking. Editors note: Please be careful when walking in long grass. This is Tick Season! Be vigilant.
