I entered this photo in Barkers of Sevenoaks Advent Calendar competition and we were put in on December 2nd ( I think) . We popped to Sevenoaks on Monday to see Jack and Daisy's photo, enlarged and taking pride of place in Barker's shop window. We won a £10 gift card to spend at the shop. That will be easy! Sevenoaks was very busy and so we decided to park in Knole Park for free. Daisy goes mental at the sight of all the deer. It was a festive walk and the dogs loved it..
I heard from Lynn French who was delighted to receive the George Forrest Cup for her achievements in trimming.
Many thanks to you and the committee for the presentation of the George Forrest Cup – what a lovely surprise! I still feel that I have a lot to learn about WT trimming and am glad that you can’t see Sophie now as she is in dire need of a tidy up!!
Pete is progressing really well after his hip replacement. Even though it was less than three weeks ago, he is out and about, doing his walking and carrying on with all of the exercises he was given by the physiotherapist. It won’t be long now until he can take his turn with the dog walking!
Thank you once again and a happy Christmas to you all.
Last of all I received a lovely card from Enid Southgate. In it was a really nice photo of WT Kevin, whom she has given a home to, in his dotage. He was a kennel dog with Sally Poole and as Sally has had to go into hospital, her dogs needed a forever home. Look how comfortable he has become!!!! doesn't it warm your heart?
So pleased to see Kevin has settled in well with Enid and
Norman, bless him, a bit of comfort in his later years. I have heard from
Queenie, who is now called Beanie and is doing really well, and they love
her to bits.
Sue sent me a couple of photos of Queenie, (who is now Beanie )and living happily in Buckinghamshire
