Weltos Christmas Party Rocked!

The Vet who came to give a talk brought along her Great Dane. The Welsh Terriers thought this was great fun! Not sure what the Great Dane thought!!!

On Sunday, 22nd November, Weltos gathered together at the club hall in Wilmington, Kent, for its annual Christmas Party.

The day turned out to be simply fabulous! The food was delicious; all home cooked and a lot of hard work was put in by our members. Mandy made a wonderful Lasagna, Sandra brought along mouth watering salmon fillets and I did my usual curry. Desserts were mostly taken care of by Kaye Attoe and were nothing short of wonderful! Sue made her trifle and Janet her famous fresh fruit salad. Chris provided cheese and biscuits which were demolished later on!

Special thanks must go to Jan and Jenny and Mandy who took care of the kitchen and all the washing up! Chris Amos always steps up the plate and helps out where she can.

The generosity of raffle prizes was second to none. Kim Brophy made wreaths of hessian and dog bones, very artistic , also Kim donated desk diaries and she wasn't even able to make it, so big thanks to Kim.xx Robin and Janet among many other things brought back the wine from France.

A vet came along, all the way from Norfolk, to give us a talk on the benefits of raw food. An excellent presentation and very interesting. The games took place after lunch and were enjoyed by all.

You can see fantastic photos of the day taken by Tim Dale on the Christmas Party 2015 Page Click on the underlined link. A big thankyou to Tim. He manages to capture such wonderful spirits from our amazing dogs. You may not have been there but wait until you see the photos!

Lynn French:

Thank you to everyone who made yesterday’s Christmas party so enjoyable. The food was simply delicious! And thank you to Kaye for the lovely cake which we shall enjoy over the next couple of weeks. It was so nice to see everyone and all of our lovely dogs. Sophie slept all the way home and was still weary this morning. We have just returned from a lovely long walk and she is asleep in the sunshine in the sitting room. What a life!

Such lovely pictures and I think do a great job to document what a great day. Thank you to you and all your helpers for making it such fun, and such tasty food. Woody loved meeting all the other Welshes, old and young, especially playing with the new pups on the scene (ooh how much did I want to take her home), oh - and the Great Dane in the car park and the Yorkie. Hehe… his list goes on. Needless to say he slept all the way home. Looking forward to the next catch up x Kind regards Nicola

Just wanted to drop you a line to say we had a super day yesterday, really thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, all of us including the dogs were shattered by the time we got home, & it was really one of the best days we had, really good fun, & I thought the dogs were very well behaved considering how many there were. Thank you once again, including all of the committee and Jan , I would have emailed from my iPad with everyone's details on it, however I dropped it in the bath so have used Tony's iPad! Please don't forget the curry recipe, and thankyou! For a super day! The Attoe Household
